Frequently Asked Questions
What are the boroughs in New York City?
New York City is comprised of five administrative regions called boroughs. Each has a distinctive character as you will see; they are composed of a variety of unique neighborhoods. I will help you discover that New York City is much more than Manhattan, taking you to sights not found in the guide books.

What's different about Native New Yorker Walking Tours?
You are in charge: Your tour is created to your specifications. If you need a rest stop or time to take a photograph or extra time to take in or enjoy an experience, I will accommodate your needs.
Almost all bus and walking tours are limited to Manhattan. I will take you to any borough, any neighborhood which interests you. If you are undecided as to what you would like to see, I will help you plan an unforgettable experience.
I utilize MTA Subway and Bus, Long Island Rail Road and MetroNorth - public transport - to take you from one walk to another. You will become self-sufficient in using mass transit and learn about New Yorkers just by riding with them.
What area is your favorite area in NY?
I enjoy taking visitors on private walking tours to the outer boroughs to see residential areas where real New Yorkers live. I am particularly interested in dispelling the image of The Bronx which has been much maligned in the media. The Bronx is a gem which is frequently avoided as 'too dangerous' to visit.
